econs is killer, and i havent completed gp newsweek and pi and phy pip and maths and bio prac and chem tut. DEAD.
have always wondered how nice it would be, to climb trees and just relax, or to be able to talk to animals and understand how they felt about us humans. or to be able to go to the sea on a cool day and enjoy the view, or to climb to the top of my house and play there.
so many things that one could have fun with, and yet something or another would deny us any chance of enjoying them. probably because of the strictness of our parents (i dont think thats bad - i thank them for being strict.), or school, or our other commitments, but how carefree that would have been. being closer to nature, having fun at the same time while relaxing, simply enjoying life...
just imagine, if we were all just gathering in a group, not caring about homework, and, just like after cip, just playing and talking and laughing. but instead of just cycling/talking, we would be playing in the sea, on the sand, climbing up the smaller trees, going up the observatory tower, running along the fishing harbour... acting just like we were small kids once again. no worries, no troubles, just simple, innocent joy and happiness.
im so envious of the smaller kids around me. their laughter, true; their actions, innocent; their minds, open; their hearts, pure. i guess its them, kids, who make the world go round, and help us balance this world of troubles and pain.
i once saw a kid playing with a kitten along a void deck near my old house. the kitten was a stray, and wouldnt go near anyone from my memory. until that day. its amazing how this kid, not older than 6, can relate to a stray kitten too frightened to be out in the open, yet there they were, playing, not caring about anything else. soon enough, the kid's mother came along, reprimanded the boy for being in contact with the stray, and took him home (presumably). surprisingly, even though he was pulled away, he turned and waved to the kitten with a smile on his face. and the kitten just sat there, looking at the boy until he turned the corner, then ran off to hide again.
and i was just standing there, transfixed.
to me, animals and young kids are very similar. mostly adorable, mostly innocent; its like they can link so easily that you would assume they knew each other since they were born. however, as we grow up, hostilities set in, and most adults we see nowadays couldnt care less for a stray. i guess theres nothing i can do about it, and i would probably become like that as well, but for now, yeah, lets just hope for the better.
i would really like to climb that tree and admire the view from up there, but i would probably just get fined by ministry of environment. wth. thats all for ranting. back to reality.
